Vaud-Villities Youth Show Camp provides an opportunity for kids to learn about performing on the stage. From stage-directions to dance routines to singing like a Broadway star, our youth will experience the many facets of performance. Camp dates this year are July 20-24 with a showcase performance on Friday. Registration will be open in late March 2020.
junior show camp
Ages 6-10 | July 20-24 | @ Northland Performing Arts Center | 10am-12pm
senior show camp
Ages 11-17 | July 20-24 | @ Northland Performing Arts Center | 1pm-4pm
Cost is $150/camper. Each additional sibling is $100.
YOUTH SHOW CAMP DIRECTOR, KAREN MCCURDY
Karen McCurdy is a retired elementary school teacher, high school drill team adviser and high school band manager. She has been a member of Vaud-Villities since 2007 and has enjoyed performing in the full chorus, small ensembles and dance routines. She has been involved with Youth Show Camp for many years and felt honored to be appointed as director again this year. She loves to watch the youth as they become performers.
YOUTH SHOW CAMP MUSIC DIRECTOR, VALERIE TANNER
Valerie Tanner is a professional vocal coach with over 25 years of teaching experience. She introduced hundreds of young singers to the joy of performing and has been rewarded with many wonderful memories along the way. Valerie’s greatest joy is watching the students overcome stage fright or shyness and blossom on the stage!
