VOCALities rehearses one night each week on Mondays in Hilliard. Performances are throughout the year on weeknights, and weekends as opportunities arise with the occasional weekday performance. While it is not mandatory to attend every single performance, it is strongly encouraged and the ideal VOCALities members will be available to participate in at least 80% or more of the total number of annual performances. Schedule varies throughout the year and can be rigorous, particularly near the holiday months (Nov/Dec).

2. Rehearse with Us
Join us to rehearse at the Hilliard Library @ 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs “Hilliard Room” (4500 Hickory Chase Way, Hilliard Ohio 43026) on Monday evenings starting March 6th, as well as March 13th and March 20th (additional dates may be added).
3. Practice and Learn
Learn the pieces in rehearsals and perform them for a TBD audition date.
4. Audition
TBD Date. Those auditioning will stand in a circle with individual microphones and sing the two pieces. The VOCALities Music Director, Laurie Darke, and a panel of judges will listen to the recordings and make final casting decisions for the group for the season.
ABOUT VOCALITIES
VOCALities by Vaud-Villities is a vocal ensemble comprised of approximately 10 individuals of varying voice parts. This group performs small sets of songs all over central Ohio – from nursing homes to senior community centers to nativity scenes, Franklin Park Conservatory, the Columbus Zoo and beyond!
The group’s mission and purpose is to promote Vaud-Villities throughout the region and garner awareness for the group, future members and audience patrons.
Performances are approximately 45 minutes in length, but can be crafted for your organization.
