YOUTH SHOW CAMP

Our Youth Show Camp provides an opportunity for youth ages 6-17 to learn about performing on and off stage. This year’s camp will be June 15-19, 2026 at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, OH.

A REAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE

Youth performers of all abilities are welcome to join us for Vaud-Villities Youth Show Camp, June 15th – 19th, 2026, at Ohio Dominican University.

Youth Show Camp for campers ages 8-17 is a full day (9a-5p), summer day camp incorporating all aspects of stage performance and summer camp fun! Students will learn about singing, dancing, acting, and how to create costumes, props, and set pieces. Campers aged 14-17 are invited to participate in the full camp experience or submit to be a junior camp counselor.

Camp for ages 6 + 7 will be a half day experience.

This hands-on opportunity will allow students to help develop their skills as performers. They’ll also learn a bit of the technical and behind the scenes portions of theater as well.

Our summer camp includes all the typical fun summertime activities – including plenty of breaks for getting outside and playing field games. Our week culminates in a live performance for friends and family at the Matesich Theater on Ohio Dominican University’s Campus.

Don’t Miss your Chance!

This full day camp is not one to be missed if you have a child who is interested in any aspect of theater and live performance!

CAMP DIRECTOR

HEATHER BALAS BREED

Heather has been a member of Vaud-Villities since 2005 as a dancer, singer, and choreographer. For five years she served as the Movement Director for Vaud-Villities holiday and spring shows. As a parent of three current and former youth campers, and past volunteer, she is excited to be directing this year’s Youth Show Camp once again. Heather holds a BA from Otterbein University and when she’s not baking something delicious, or supporting the school PTO, she works for a graphic and display company.

We owe special gratitude and thanks to our venue sponsor and supporter, Ohio Dominican University.
